Subscription Box: Introducing Starlooks LooksBook - Resort Edition

The Starlooks Starbox has been my favorite subscription box to sample so far. Packed with great make-up finds and gift cards you can use, one can never have too much make-up! I have a few favorite pieces already from Starlooks and now they have just kicked it up a little with LooksBook. Looksbook is the newest subscription service from Starlooks offering 3 cosmetics in travel size convenience, perfect for sampling and taking on the go.

These 3 perfectly travel sized treats fit snugly inside this book to keep them clean, safe and easy to find. With a cute little pop out booklet of helpful tips to tell you all about your newest beauty finds. Here is what came in the August Resort Edition of Starlooks LooksBook.

LooksBook Resort Edition Contents:

1. Starlooks Water Eyeshadow in Aqua - This water eyeshadow is quite the color. Bold, beautiful with green tones. In the tips booklet, Starlooks suggests using a small shadow brush to apply this satin finish all over the eye lid. (see pictures below)

2. Starlooks Ritz / Tropic Highlighter/Blush Duo - Using a medium, defining powder brush, apply the Ritz golden highlighter to the brow and cheek bones. Then apply the Tropic blush to the apples of the cheeks and just below the cheek bone. Such a beautiful color combination to add a touch of warmth.

3. Starlooks Jet Set Lipstick - Starlooks recommends exfoliating the lips before applying this gloss finish lipstick in Jet Set. You can customize the color depth by layering. I love it, it makes my lips smooth, with as much color as I want.

These three mini cosmetics are the perfect treat to try for yourself or a friend.
A perfect size to sample colors you might not normally consider but end up looking wonderful.

Also included were 3 gift cards for Versa Swimwear ($50), Torrain ($15), and The Laboratory ($15 off $30).
