On hot summer days, there is no better way to cool down than with everyone’s favorite refreshing summer sip...a root beer float! Today is National Root Beer Float Day, so, I wanted to share TWO simple, TWO ingredient recipes with you using Virgil's Handcrafted Root Beer and Black Cherry.

Virgil’s Root Beer Float

Ingredients:

Virgil’s Root Beer (or Zero-Sugar Root Beer)
Vanilla Ice Cream

Directions:

Get a nice tall glass (preferably a mighty mug!)
Drop one scoop of vanilla ice cream into the bottom of the glass
Pour Virgil’s Root Beer over the scoop until it fills up about halfway
Drop another scoop of vanilla ice cream into the mix
Fill to the top of the glass with Virgil’s!
Grab a spoon and experiment with your preferred balance of ice cream and Virgil's Root Beer in each bite

Virgil’s Black Cherry Float

Ingredients:

Virgil’s Black Cherry (or Zero-Sugar Black Cherry)
Alden’s Organic Vanilla Ice Cream

Directions:

Get a nice tall glass
Drop one scoop of vanilla ice cream into the bottom of the glass
Pour Virgil’s Black Cherry over the scoop until it fills up about halfway
Drop another scoop of Alden's vanilla ice cream into the mix
Fill to the top of the glass with Virgil’s!
Grab a spoon and experiment with your preferred balance of ice cream and Virgil's Black Cherry in each bite
