Sweetology - the fun DIY Cake and Cookie Decorating Kit is offering Summer Camp Sessions (in-store and online) #winApril 8, 2021 I first heard about Sweetology last year when I was researching creative ways to celebrate a birthday. We received a four pack of cupcakes delivered to our door with everything we needed to decorate them. It was such a fun experience and it was so easy to enjoy. Everything was provided for us! This summer Sweetology will be entering their 8th year of providing this fun DIY cake decorating experience and last year they introduced a virtual Cake Adventure Camp and plan to do it again this summer nationwide! I am delighted to be featuring Sweetology again this year to tell you all about their fun Summer Camp (online or in-store sessions available) and Sweetology has generously offered a week of your choice in our giveaway below. Be sure to sign up and enter to win! CAMP INFO: Sweetology is offering 7 weeks of Summer Camp with morning and afternoon sessions beginning June 7th for grades 1-8. Register in-store or online for a theme week of your choice (choices listed below). Campers will work with cake, cookies, buttercream, royal icing, and fondant as they learn to work with cake decorating tools. SESSIONS: Each Camp Session is dedicated to a theme. Each day the campers will have an individual project(s) incorporating the theme as they learn different tips and tricks for cake and cookie decorating. No prior experience is required. Each session is guided by a Sweetologist and each session will be different and expand decorating skills and experience.  Cake Camp Session 1 - LEGO (Disney) - June 7-11th. "Who doesn't love Legos? This year we are taking Legos as our creative inspiration to dive into the world of Legos in a sweet way. Cake pops, lego gummies and more. Campers will receive work on different decorating skills and techniques and work on fun Lego inspired projects everyday." Cake Camp Session 2 - Among Us - June 14-18th. "Join us for a week of exploring the world of Among Us, a social deduction game that is popular with all ages. We will share the journey and the mystery as we explore space through cookies, think about structures and science. Join the Among Us in adventures in cake, cookie and cupcake decorating." Cake Camp Session 3 - Rainbow Rush - June 21-25th. "This session has nothing but COLOR. Have fun as we go over the top with fondant, candy, and buttercream! Willy Wonka himself as we explore all things creative around edible color! Join the Rainbow Rush adventures in cake, cookie and cupcake decorating." Cake Camp Session 4 - LEGO (SuperHero) - July 12-16th. "Who doesn't love Legos? This year we are taking Legos as our creative inspiration to dive into the world of Legos in a sweet way. Each camper will enjoy learning about various skills and techniques and bring home their creations every day to share with the rest of the family." Cake Camp Session 7 - Faux Food - August 2nd-6th. "Explore the fun of making faux food with cake and edible treats. We will have fun "faking" you out with hamburgers, french fries and even sushi." GENERAL INFORMATION The am session meet from 9:00-12:00pm (CST) and is for grades 1-4 The pm session meet from 1:00-4:00pm (CST) for grades 5-8 The sessions are essentially the same but campers will move at a pace more age appropriate for each level. Upon registration, campers will receive a link to complete their registration. Additionally, all parents will be required to sign Sweetology's Camp Policy Guidelines. COST: The cost of one Cake Camp Weekly Session is $185. Campers will have the option to participate in store or virtually. Materials can be either shipped to your home or picked up curbside (in St. Louis). If participating virtually, camp materials will be shipped one week prior to the camp session. All baked goods and buttercream should be placed in the freezer. Campers who are picking up their materials can pick up the Friday before camp begins. Each camper will receive a google meeting link the week prior to camp. The camper should simply click on the link when ready to join (sessions will also be recorded for later viewings). SIGN UP! Go to the Master Calendar to book a session and click on the Monday of the first day of the session. This will place the session into your cart and allow you to checkout. (The master calendar can be filtered by location or virtually). There will be a Google Form link at checkout. This form is required to be filled out to complete registration. Additionally, you will be sent a permission statement that will outline Sweetology policies, check-in and out procedures and refunds. Which Cake Camp Session is your favorite?
