Chasing Failure is a new and fresh way to look at failure. The author, Ryan Leak shares personal stories and his experiences on how he grew more from his failures. He has a very interesting approach on how 'chasing failure' actually can help to reveal what we are good at and what we are not good at doing. Encouraging us to try even if we think we will fail.
Ryan discusses in his book his dream of being in the NBA and his approach to get an actual tryout. He didn't think he had anything to lose by just trying and emailed teams until he received a shot. Ryan continues to take risks and it has led him right to where he needs to be - helping others.
Chasing Failure was a fun and interesting read and reminded me that having a mentor is a beautiful thing!

"Ryan Leak is an author, speaker, executive coach, and filmmaker. He’s known for two documentaries: The Surprise Wedding and Chasing Failure. The son of a preacher man, Ryan grew up in the church with a marketplace passion. Today, Ryan splits his time between speaking in churches and doing executive coaching and speaking in Corporate America through his company The Ryan Leak Group, LLC.
Ryan has a unique church position in that he is on the teaching team of five megachurches. He rotates speaking at each of them seven to eight times a year. He regularly teaches 48,000 people between those five churches.
