The Polar Express at the Cape Cod Railway

Polar Express

All aboard for the best adventure ever!! The Polar Express comes to life this holiday season at the Cape Cod Central Railway. Climb aboard the festive vintage train cars for an adventure of a lifetime. Dancing elves and a chef deliver hot chocolate and a cookie to each guest to enjoy while music from the Polar Express movie plays on our way to the North Pole. During the ride, the conductor will come by to punch each child's ticket as the elves sing Christmas carols, and just before arriving at the North Pole, the iconic book, The Polar Express is read as the elves turn the pages to share the beautiful illustrations in the original book.

Once we magically arrive at The North Pole village, Santa joins us for the return trip and greets each child with his signature holiday spirit and the first gift of Christmas: a bell cut from his sleigh. He spends time with each child and offers lots of opportunities for fun pictures. I would share the whole picture below, but it is so good, it will be our Christmas card this year :) We had more Christmas carols on the return trip and a visit from the travelling hobo who goes looking for a ticket. He almost got my daughters, who thought nothing of it to offer it to him :) He shared a card trick and chatted for a bit! We are really kicking ourselves for not getting a photo of him!

This was such a great adventure for us all! Santa was really made for this role, he was so kind, and had loads of time to sit and chat, (We loved the many benefits of going early in the season, it seemed everyone had more time to really chat.) We were so very well taken care of by all, the Elves were so much fun and all come chatting to you. (when they are not singing) The Chef came over too and asked the kids what they wanted for Christmas! It was truly magical and a great way to kick off the Christmas Season! Thanks Polar Express, Cape Cod Central Railway and USFamily Guide. We can't stop talking about this great magical adventure! Visit Cape Train or call 888-797-7245 to climb aboard.
