ENDED - Mommy MD Guide Books Review and GiveawayJanuary 14, 2013 When I first found out I was pregnant, pure elation set in first, then a little bit of disbelief, then a little bit of panic. I knew nothing about babies, except maybe that they did not tell you their needs very well and kept most parents up all night. I armed myself with a few good go-to guide books and read bits whenever I could. Online was very helpful and opinions of friends and family were helpful too, but for me, the best defense was reading and trying to understand all I could to enable me to make intelligent decisions when needed. Mommy MD Guides.com launched in 2009 and the first book in the series began with The Mommy MD Guide to Pregnancy and Birth, released in 2010. The Mommy MD Guide to your Baby's First Year was released in 2011 and they have just published one in 2012 entitled: The Mommy MD Guide to the Toddler Years. These books are a great reference offering timeless tips and information, reminders to take care of you, product mentions and recommendations, and advice on when to call a doctor! A great book for any expectant or new mother which makes a great gift too! I have been reviewing the third book in the Mommy MD series: The Mommy MD Guide to the Toddler Years and wish I had this one just a few years ago. It is filled with over 900 tips from 62 doctors who are mothers as well! So the advice in the book has been tried and tested by real women, who happen to be educated doctors! While some days new Mother's can feel like we are just surviving the many challenges, this book reminds us to enjoy the many celebrations as well!
