How To Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular

Dreamworks' How To Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular is coming to a city near you! Starting this summer, audiences across North America will experience the magic of fire-shooting, smoke breathing and high-flying dragons that soar through arena skies. This tour, produced by RZO Dragon Productions will deliver 23 dragons, (12 different species of dragons) some with a wingspan of up to 46 feet and weighing close to 2.6 tons. We will get to experience Viking warriors and world-class circus artists and acrobats perform against a state-of-the-art, wall-to-floor immersive projection screen measuring more than 20,000 square feet.

This live production rolls fire-breathing action, epic adventure and heartfelt laughter into an original captivating story set in the mythical world of Vikings and wild dragons. Based on the book by Cressida Cowell, and inspired by the movie of the same name, it centers on Hiccup, a Viking teenager who doesn’t fit in with his tribe’s longstanding tradition of heroic dragon slayers. Hiccup’s world is turned upside down when he encounters a dragon that challenges him and his fellow Vikings to see the world from an entirely different point of view.

This spectacular event will be in my neck of the woods at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA starting Wednesday, July 11th through Sunday, July 15th. Regular ticket prices range from $29.50 to $69.50 (fees excluded). Also offered are a limited number of premium seats and special VIP ticket experiences. Family packages are also available.
