PAAS Easter Egg Dyeing Kits and FREE Easter Egg Decorator App

Easter is just around the corner and one of my daughter's favorite activities is dyeing eggs. PAAS makes dyeing and decorating eggs a lot of fun with their fantastic kits. A few new ones out this year include the following:

Volcano Eggsplosion: a kit that uses melted crayon shavings to provide instant color; Deggorating Doodles: includes four food grade markers to use right on the egg shell; and Touch of Velvet: this kit uses double stick adhesives and flocking powder to create fun, fuzzy shapes and designs on your eggs. Below please find some of our creations. We cannot wait to do some more!!

We really enjoyed this activity with our kids! My son watched a lot, and my daughter enjoyed the pens the most! I hope to enjoy this every year using PAAS and Heinz Vinegar. It reminds us that Spring is on the way, bringing warmer weather and a lot more color!

Tips using Heinz vinegar: Add two tablespoons of Heinz vinegar per quart of water before placing the eggs in the pot to help keep hard boiled eggs from cracking. Also, to make colors vivid and bright, add one tablet and three tablespoons of Heinz vinegar to a PAAS color cup (or one cup container) once the tablet dissolves, add 1/2 cup of water and stir.
