About Must-Have Marvin:
"Marvin loves new things! When he sees the Super Galactic Robot - the coolest, most awesome toy ever - he exclaims, I HAVE to have one!" It is all Marvin could think about that day, ignoring his friends requests for help and not playing with his younger brother after school. He counted all his money saved in his piggy bank and convinced his dad to take him to purchase it after dinner, he even slept with it that night and could not wait to show it to his friends the next day, but they were all too busy to play, doing the work that he had not helped with the previous day. Marvin was lonely walking home but luckily bumped into his wise neighbor who helped save the day!

My Thoughts:
Must-Have Marvin learns that things are no comparison to people and that helping friends and team work are huge in meeting goals. My son loved the added star search that appears on each page depicting the mood of Marvin. The illustrator, Luanne Marten offers bright colors and cute faces with adorable scenes similar to Can't-Wait Willow, who also makes an appearance. We love the Shine Bright Series books and the messages they send, we hope you will too!
