Mia Mariu Makeup ReviewAugust 13, 2012 I love all things beauty! I spent hours as a teenager playing with any and all makeup I could get my hands on! I just loved trying lots of different eye shadows and lip colors. My best friend would just watch me in awe and wonder how I could take dark colors and soften them up. It was a lot of fun! Today, I still enjoy wearing makeup but daily makeup for me would be mascara, a colored gloss and maybe blush (cause I am on the pale side). I would only play with eye shadow for special occasions and rare dates with my husband. I still find it fun though (and can’t wait for my daughter to get into it! :)  I recently received sample products from Mia Mariu to try; the following products were included for my review: Loose Mineral Shadow Liner in Durazmo and Rosa: A velvety powder that goes on smooth, feels light and looks gorgeous! The Durazmo is a brownish tan that compliments your skin and the Rosa is a beautiful subtle pink that I just love! Both colors would be suitable for many skin tones, including my pale ivory color! This shimmery mineral makes me feel pretty – a lovely product! $14 and available in 8 shades. Also included was a Hydrating Stick Gloss in Beso which is a great pink color that works well with summer! Just a shimmer of color that is perfect for any woman, especially with a light tan. It goes on easy, stays on, and feels silky smooth. $15 and available in 10 pretty shades. A sample packet of Hydrating Moisturizer SPF 30+ was also included: This white, lightly scented cream goes on prior to make up – It made my skin soft and smooth, ready for foundation and a little goes a long way! Suitable for all skin types, non-irritating, and oil-free. $44. A sample packet of RestauraCel-C Microdermabrasion Thermal Activator and RestauraCel-C Microdermabrasion Refinisher Cream – to be used together - You mix the Thermal Activator and Refinisher Cream together in the palm of your hand and apply to a clean face in a gentle circular motion. Reduces the appearance of enlarged pores, acne scars, fine lines, and wrinkles. The set costs $55.
