ENDED - King Richard's Faire Ticket GiveawayAugust 20, 2013
Disclaimer: I received a family pack of tickets for this post, no other compensation was received and all opinions are 100% mine.
The annual King Richard's Faire is celebrating thirty-two years this year starting weekends August 31st through October 20th, 2013 (Including Labor Day Monday, Sept. 2nd and Columbus Day Monday, Oct. 14th) Located at 235 Main Street in Carver, MA. Gates open at 10:30am and close at 6:00pm
Although I have heard of this fun festival for years now, I have yet to enjoy the 80-acre site with plenty of space to take in the hundreds of live entertainers performing throughout the day, including acrobats, aerialists, jugglers, minstrels, mimes, dancers, fire eaters, stilt walkers and puppeteers, even Knights jousting on horseback. I will be sure to share our experience!
Did you know King Richard also has a zoo? Enjoy sneaking a peak at exotic tigers, ligers, lions, wolves, owls and jaguars too.
Shoppers can stroll through the 16th century village filled with more than 100 unique and talented artisans showing off their skills with glass blowing, portrait painting, hand-spun pottery, sword making, jewelry, leather and armor, period clothing, moccasins, perfumes and scented oils, face painting and more.
Also available are games and rides - with strength, power and skill games such as an Axe Throw and Archery or more gentle pleasures include hide n’ seek in M’Lady’s Shady Maze, or feel the enchantment of the Swan Swing and Flying Carousel. Plenty of fun for everyone!
