Book Review: House on Plunkett Street by Lorena Bathey

May 1, 2013

House on Plunkett Street

The story starts out with "boring, bland and unexciting" Phoebe who was just coasting through life, trying not to interrupt anyone around her, when finally, circumstance has her looking for a new job and a new home. After moving in to the House on Plunkett Street, her life changed forever. Phoebe felt it from the start, this house was special, it felt like a very loved and happy home.

Once relaxed, Phoebe is visited by three past occupants in the form of ghosts that appear and disappear when they feel needed, offering sound advice and tips to improve Phoebe’s life. With their guidance Phoebe turns her life upside down and starts expecting a little more of herself and those around her.

This story is another fun, fast paced, page turner I have come to hope for with any Lorena Bathey book and her characters. They are always strong, capable women and her stories are inspiring and comforting. With a little part ghost story, part love story, this book is another enjoyable read by Lorena. Order any book directly from her site and she will sign it for you! So very cool!
