Review: Dr Song Teeth Whitening KitJanuary 18, 2015
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. No other compensation was received and all opinions are my own.
Luckily, these days we have the opportunity to try whitening kits in the privacy of our own home, a much more relaxed environment, and at a fraction of the cost of a dentist visit. Although, dentists are preferred if your teeth and gums are sensitive, or badly stained. But for a quick touch up or for home maintenance, a home kit is ideal.
I have been trying Dr. Song's Teeth Whitening Kit for about 6 or 7 days - I sadly missed a day toward the end but already notice a difference. I left the light on and the trays in for 15 minutes at a time - the minimum suggested time, I did not feel any sensitivity, but would not use it again for a while, to make sure. The kit comes generously with 8 whitening syringes, good for 50 applications, I have used one so far. The shelf life of the whitening gel is approximately 12 months upon receiving, when stored properly in a cool, dark place. If you have sensitive teeth, Dr. Song recommends you purchase their Remineralization Gel as well, to apply after each whitening treatment to eliminate the possibility of sensitivity.
This was my first time using a tray kit, although not a greta match for my teeth, the trays are flexible and a little moldable when dipped in warm water, and it is recommended to practice with the trays while they are dry. So far, I am happy with the results. It is very easy to use, and the kit comes well prepared for you:
